After finishing his economics degree Piers qualified with Arthur Andersen as a chartered accountant, where his work as an auditor gave him exposure to many different industries. He then worked for almost a decade in the UK and Europe with listed companies, including some years with the Duchy of Cornwall, before returning to Australia.
After completing an MBA with one of Australia’s leading business schools, MGSM, he moved into business development then into general management roles with listed and unlisted companies. He was Asia-Pacific President of a US-owned global business, has been CEO for several more North American and Australian firms, and has had decades of experience taking products and services into global markets. Piers was the M&A Manager for an Australian public company for four years, and more recently the General Manager of Sydney Film School, a top 50 global film school on a two year change management assignment.
Piers is also an experienced director of domestic businesses, including those headquartered in the US, UK, Europe and China. He is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
His experience ensures The Weringa Group takes a very commercial approach to the services it offers. In addition to undertaking research and facilitating contacts for international trade, we specialise in assisting M&A transactions and helping our clients build and grow their businesses once established in our region.
Roseline Yardin PhD

With a background in biological and chemical technologies, Ros Yardin has over 10 years’ experience working with both the NSW State Government in the Investment and Export Team and the Office for Science and Medical Research as Manager Biotech and Medtech, food and agriculture; and with Austrade as Senior Industry advisor in Biotech, Medtech, ICT e-Health, and Environmental Science.
She has assisted and nurtured companies at all stages of their commercialisation cycle, from early-stage research, as spin-offs from universities and research Institutes to becoming export ready and looking for global opportunities in both investment and export.
Ros has also assisted the global big pharma groups and medical device companies in expanding their presence in Australia, and also in acquiring new Australian technologies and medical products.

Jenny O’Sullivan brings over 10 years of experience in assisting international businesses to develop and execute Go-to-Market strategies for the Australian market.
She is a data and research-driven strategic thinker dedicated to understanding client needs and creating innovative growth opportunities. Jenny has a proven track record of consistently delivering strong commercial outcomes for her clients.
Throughout her career, Jenny has helped over 300 clients from the US and Europe in assessing, developing, and executing export marketing strategies to generate sales in Australia. She has also designed, delivered, and managed more than 15 physical and 6 virtual group trade mission meetings and event programs for economic development agencies and companies from the US, Europe, UK, and Singapore.
